                 Robert Stapleton
Robert Stapleton developed a love and appreciation for nature at a very early age.  Growing up in the mountains of New Mexico, surrounded by spectacular rock formations, Robert grew to love God's natural works of art.
As a child, Robert's playground was the canyon right behind his house.  He hiked, climbed and inspected every inch of this magnificent landscape.  The colors and textures of the stone always fascinated him, and that fascination is still with him today.
In the late 1980's living in northern Colorado, at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, Robert was once again drawn to the stone and the mountains.  He began harvesting stone from the mountains, selling it to retail stone yards in the area, then moved on to open his own retail location.  From that grew a landscape company, and finally the first Waterfall Center of its kind in the United States, where the client could see and hear their water feature first, before they bought it.  Each display was unique, not one like it anywhere.  The display was then disassembled and reassembled at the clients home.
The Waterfall center in Colorado boasted 11 acres of displays and materials.  The gated entry into Tranquility Park opened onto a waterfall wonderland, which included Tranquility Falls, a massive water feature, utilizing 178 truckloads of stone.

In the late 90's, Robert developed the first Waterfall school.  Here, individuals and business owners could come and receive hands-on-experience in constructing natural stone water features, using no cement or chemicals.  Using Robert's time tested techniques for construction, they learned to DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!

Through the Waterfall School, and now, the Video and Seminar Series, Robert is doing what he loves, building waterfalls and sharing his God given skills, techniques and passion with others.  He feels that he is truly doing God's work and is enjoying every minute of it.  "God has blessed me with an incredible talent to build and to teach others." says Robert.  His legacy is the waterfalls he has created both large and small, and the artists he trains to carry on his tradition of excellence.
Robert has long been considered the leader in the design and construction of natural stone waterfalls.  His unique methods  produce truly natural results.  Robert understands that his ability to construct these spectacular water features is a God given talent, and feels that it is his calling to pass this knowledge on to others.
