"Flights Of Our Fathers" Fly-In
September 25, 2010       Terrell, Texas

For the many US citizens who do not know (we did not know until we went for the fly-in), the air field at Terrell, Texas was used to train British
pilots with the RAF during WWII.  There are several very interesting websites that have pictures and video, along with the history behind this.
Here is a link to the British Flight Training School Museum,
http://www.bftsmuseum.org/home.html  It is well worth taking a look.  If you find
yourself in the Terrell area (south east of Dallas) the museum is very informative.

Robert had the opportunity to speak during Opening Ceremonies and tell about Veteran Falls.  We then presented memorial stones to five
families of fallen heroes from Terrell.

We had a great time in Terrell, met some great people, stayed at Bluebonnet Ridge RV Park (which is wonderful), had some really good Cajun
food.... It was a beautiful weekend!
